We are SACM, the OU student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery. We provide opportunities for you to network with other students and professors, host various workshops for student skill building, and host representatives of large companies. If that doesn't interest you, there will also be free food!
About SACM: While classes teach proficiency in thought and problem-solving skills, OU's Student chapter of ACM (SACM) seeks to be a central hub for networking and peer-mentorship as students develop into professional software engineers. To achieve this mission, the officers of SACM host informal weekly meetings accessible to those with little background in computer science. We also host workshops and speakers that promote proficiency in software tools including code editors, debuggers, package managers, command-line interpreters, Git, GitHub, and more.
